Bathroom Sinks

It is a proven fact that the most time spent in the bathroom is at the sink! This comes before being on the toilet, in the shower or in the bath, believe it or not. If you are considering purchasing a new sink then think about this very hard as if you make the wrong decision it may fault you for life. I have listed below some points you must consider before making this important decision.

Sinks can range for being reasonable priced to excessively overly price. You need to set your budget so when you start looking you are focused in the area you can afford. The price of the sink depends on the material, brand and style. Once you have set your budget you must decided whether you want a standard basin with pedestal, vanity unit with basin in the top, wall hung basin, back to wall basin etc. The sink must also fit the deco of you bathroom e.g. if your bathroom is quite old fashioned with brass taps the vanity unit may suit better with a wooden front, if your bathroom is quite modern with chrome finishes then the wall hung basin would fit perfectly.

The sink must go with the deco but must also be practical for use. If your bathroom is quite small and you require all the space you can get a small vanity unit may suit due to the extra storage underneath. If the sink is for a guest bathroom then a standard basin with pedestal may suit. If you have children in the house, you may find it better to go for a deeper basin as kids do like to make a splash in the sink.
